Invisalign vs. Traditional Orthodontics

You may have read some of the online debates about the use of Invisalign® versus traditional orthodontics, and every person seems to have a different opinion. The simple truth, in this case, is that there is no simple truth. Just as you are different from any other person, so also your personal dental alignment may call for a different technique than anyone else’s.

Some dentists and orthodontists swear by traditional braces and refuse to use any other type of dental aligners. However, even modern braces are an evolution of an older type of orthodontia. Where headgear being worn at night was the norm for many kids with braces in the middle of last century, today it is virtually unheard of.

Invisalign is viewed as the next evolution in orthodontics by many individuals, and some cosmetic dentists and orthodontists have found success treating even difficult cases with Invisalign and experienced excellent results. To find out if Invisalign or traditional orthodontics treatment is right for you, you should schedule a consultation with our cosmetic dentists, who have extensive experience with Invisalign, and discuss your goals and expectations.

To schedule your consultation or find out more about Invisalign, please contact our experienced cosmetic dentists today. Dr. LeSueur and Dr. Dodaro welcome patients from Phoenix and the surrounding areas of Scottsdale, Tempe, and Mesa, Arizona.

Invisalign is a revolutionary way to help you get even, straight teeth without noticeable, painful metal braces. Virtually undetectable, Invisalign aligners are made of strong, clear plastic that gradually guides your teeth into perfect alignment. Unlike metal braces, they have no wires or brackets on which your lips or gums can snag.

Like many before me have said, Invisalign is a wonderful substitute for traditional braces, without all the pains of having annoying wires and brackets in your mouth. Seriously consider using Invisalign. A good dentist in the philadelphia area to check out for Invisalign treatment is www.smilemakerpa.com
